About Love Creek Construction
Hello, my name is Bill McMahon and I am co-owner with my wife, Virginia (“Gigi”), in Love Creek Construction. My family has been involved in the construction business since the 1970s and I grew up with a hammer in my hand.
I spent most of my summers working for my father and gained experience in property renovation and new construction. After graduating from the University of Delaware, we continued this relationship over the next 10 years and have had the opportunity to build and renovate hundreds of properties.
In 2012, however, my focus began to change. My father experienced a major health setback and his physical mobility steadily declined over the next 8 years. With my mother bearing most of the home care weight, improvements had to be made to allow him some independence as well as provide better living conditions for her.
As with many others, we gained a heightened awareness of Aging in Place difficulties during that time. In early 2019, we decided to study the AIP concepts in more depth and analyze how we could apply our expertise to help others.
We were excited about the opportunity and created Love Creek Construction.
We are Certified Aging-In-Place Specialist (CAPS) professionals and concentrate on comprehensive home modification. Our clients want to remain in their own home for later years of life or require home modifications to accommodate mobility or sensory impairment.
Structural changes and home customization will often allow for increased activity levels and a more independent lifestyle. We’d love to talk with you regarding your needs and can provide positive feedback to help guide your plans.
